Dr. Nicole Aschenbrenner is a seasoned Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and respected International Education Consultant, with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals with autism and other developmental or neurodiverse conditions.
Since 2008, she has worked across a variety of clinical, educational, and community settings, helping both children and adults build the skills they need to lead meaningful, empowered lives.
Dr. Aschenbrenner earned her Doctorate in Special Education from Northcentral University and completed advanced training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at the Florida Institute of Technology—a nationally recognized leader in ABA education. She specializes in early intervention, with a strong focus on delivering evidence-based, ethical, and individualized services for children and adults with developmental, physical, and neurodevelopmental disabilities.
In her current role as Chief Operations Officer of Behavior Analyst Services at Serene Applied Behavior Analysis (SABA), Dr. Aschenbrenner leads a team of professionals committed to delivering high-quality ABA services across clinical and school-based settings.
Outside her professional practice, Dr. Aschenbrenner is deeply involved in the North Idaho community, where she serves as Board Secretary for DS Connections NW. Her advocacy work centers on promoting awareness, acceptance, and inclusion for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, and she is passionate about equipping others with the tools and knowledge to create lasting change.
Dr. Aschenbrenner has a particular interest in supporting adults with dual diagnoses, helping them develop effective self-advocacy, communication, and problem-solving skills. She is committed to empowering individuals to navigate challenges through de-escalation strategies and self-regulation techniques.
When she’s not working or volunteering, Nicole enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and taking long walks with her dog.
