Jo is a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Walden University. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she had 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with 13 of those years working in mental health.
She experienced working with children ages 4-11 years; adolescents ages 12-17 years; and adults ages 18-65+ years. On top of the Mental Health field, she is a Major in the United States Army Reserve, Army Nurses Corps with an area of concentration as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse.
With her military experience comes a real passion for working with military members and veterans with PTSD, TBI, and other mental health issues.
As a Nurse Practitioner, she hopes to expand her knowledge and practice with complementary and alternative modalities.
In Jo's free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, bowling, traveling, camping, and hiking with her dogs.
